    My partner and i are soooo fertile, we can just about pick the date we want to conceive

  • I think that some of these people are wrong responding. If you are on a normal 28 day cycle or around there, then you are most likely going to ovulate somewhere around the 12-16th day after the first day of your last period. When you say right after, if you mean the next day and it happens- that's kind of odd if someone is ovulating that soon...that would only be around day 6...7..or 8 of their cycle. But, every woman's body is different, so what may work for one woman, may not work for another. Good luck.


  • well that usually is the time you ovulate so that would be pretty much all of us who are pregnant right now.


  • I myself didn't, but I do know that you can actually get pregnant during your period. I'm pregnant thanks to calculating my ovulation date (via NFP). Ovulation usually occurs 14 days prior to the next period, but not 14 days after the previous period since only 5% of women have 28 day cycles. If you have a very short cycle, ovulation can occur during the period. Since it takes 6-10 days for the baby to implant, the period is over by the time implantation occurs. I know a woman who got pregnant during her period because she "missed an observation" (didn't follow the NFP directions one day).
