there's also a mention of Spurs' interest in Pedersen, but he shoots it down. Hopefully his words are sincere.
It's obvious that the FA have their goldenboys and they can get away with anything. Essien was only disciplined because there was such a huge uproar about it.
It's just laughable...until it happens to Rovers!
The punishment better be a fine and nothing more. If he's banned for a game or two the FA will have shown themselves to be the clueless lot we all know they are.
He said at the time: "He's got a nice track record of sending off Blackburn players, so something might be up."
Just the fact that it took a month for the FA to decide to charge him shows what a load of crap this is.

its because we are rovers and not a big club but this ref is a d**k because he sent off a player at anfield for a nothing offence and got recinded so this ref should not be allow at our games again
Watch your mouth.
The FA is listening....

what's so funny is I saw Nigel Reo-Coker almost snap Michael Essien's leg, and Geremi slapped Yossi Benayoun and elbowed Matthew Etherington in the Chelsea v. West Ham game alone, yet I've heard nothing of them facing FA action yet. So it's ok to injure someone, but not ok to speak one's mind?
