Did you catch a glimpse of this?

  • Between the game between Rovers and Bolton, 8-10 Bolton fans/hooligans sat themselves quietly in an area of the stadium for Rovers fans only. Seventy minutes into the game they proceeded to get up from there seats and and walk towards a section of the ground where the other Bolton fans where seated. Once away from the police officers they pulled out a Bolton team flag, in full view which sent the other Bolton supporters into a frenzy. Needless to say it was only a matter of time before the police or far worse the Rovers fans got to grips with them. Unluckily for the folk from Bolton it was the latter. After having a few harsh words (amongst other things) with the stupid Wanderers, the kind people of Blackburn handed them over to the police! I bet they wont try that again in a hurry! ha ha

    I have pictures of the various scuffles between both sets of fans and the police, yet i have just noticed i cant post attachments. Oh well. Take it from a first hand account....it was funny!


  • :D A few years ago my friend who works at Ewood park ( and happens to support Bolton) was asked to stand in as the Rovers mascot Roar, because the reg guy was ill and my pal was the only one to fit the costume. When Bolton scored i think he forgot where he was and proceeded to cheer the goal....right in front of the Blackburn fans. Needless to say he was never used as cover again!

  • Very true, it must be something they put in the water in Bolton because they seem to try it everytime we play each other.
    I should've done that when I went to the game at Bolton last season. :D


  • I had heard of the fracas but there was nothing shown nor mentioned in the FSC broadcast. Good that the idiots got what they deserved. You mess with the bull, you get the horns!

    Too bad indeed that you can't post pictures....I'd be interested to see them...


  • I don't see why that little group would put themselves in a position where they'd be so substantially outnumbered. Silly kids. :D
