Why does my tablet freeze everything?

  • Okay, so I've been having this issue for a while now. Maybe a month? Every time I plug in my wacom tablet it freezes up the computer. Like things will pop up for a short while before it just won't do that. I can still move the mouse but when I click on stuff it won't work.
    Is it possible for my tablet to have a virus or something???
    I've tried re-installing the software that came with it. That does nothing.


  • first try a differant USB port , then try uninstalling your tablet drivers and reinstalling them again (make sure you uninstall first)

    Do you have other USB devices connected? Do they work ok? could be a USB issue too but that can be dealt with later if you dont solve it.
