2 Questions before I buy...

  • Hello, I'm very interested in purchasing a license of vBulletin, however I first wanted to ask if the current importer allows the conversion to vBulletin from my current YaBB 1.3.1 Gold? I saw this YaBB version listed on the importer list, however was confused as to if it was finished or in development. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

    Also, I am interested in marking some of my forum's users (notably my advertisers) by bolding their username that is listed in the main threads listings of each board. Is there a way I can do this with vBulletin?

    2. Yes, this can be done with the HTML Markup fields in the Usergroup settings.


  • hey... that's great. For someone who knows little about MySQL and PHP... how difficult a task would importing my YaBB into vBulletin be? Does it destroy my YaBB forum in the process of converting?
