St. Patrick Parade

  • I had seen the St. Patrick Day Parade in the past and it is so colorful. This year I am thinking to take some pictures. I never shot in this kind of event. Any advise from lens choice to technique is welcomed. I promise I upload the pictures for you guys by Sunday.

    NB - I am using Canon 30D and I have the 28 - 135mm (kit lens) and 50mm f/1.8. I can easily rent other lens if this is not sufficient.

    Use the zoom lens if it is me and keep the 50mm in your pocket or bag. Stand back from the crowd and find higher ground which has clear view of the parade, or stand up the front at the nearest intersection. And guard that spot with your life. But don't die yet until you post the photos here, than you may proceed :D.
