I wanna ask this girl i really like to the semi formal??

  • The semi formal for my school is at the beggining of june and their selling the tickets for it on may 27- june 5th. I was planning on asking her 2 weeks b4 the tickets are gonna be sold. Is this a good idea or do u hve a better one, if so tell me!

    should i pay for her ticket if she says yes cuz their $20 each, i will, just wanted to know if i should


  • i think it sounds like a plan. i think that asking her two weeks before doesnt seem too overplanned, even though you are planning hah, but it also give her time to think about it, and also enough time to give you a definite answer. If she does say yes though i definitely think you should buy her ticket. but somehow low key let her know you are like be like i got ourrr tickets or something so she doesnt go buy her own :) good luckk!


  • you must definately pay for her ticket if she says yes. its just the polite thing to do. even for me, if the guy im asking to my school dance says yes, the guest tickets are $60 (yeah yeah its a lot but my school is flat broke! so they're desperate haha) soo im going to be paying $100 for him and i to go (if he says yes)
    and it never ever hurts to just ask.
    i know i probably wasnt much of a help but if you could answer to my situation that would be great.

  • You should pay for the tickets; that makes it official. As a girl EXPERT (lol), I would give her a necklace (a NICE one, not some crap one you got in a freaking cereal box!!!), and when she opens it, say that you "were hoping she'd wear it to the dance (or semiformal or watever you want to call it)". Get her roses (yellow or light pink), and leave them in her locker every day leading up to the day that you ask her (anonymously). It's nice to see someone in the same boat, lol. Most importantly, be nice and funny. And try to look good; don't be some grungey freak when you ask her. Don't wear something nerdy either. I suggest jeans with a *fitted* long sleeved top (possibly from American Eagle. Whatever you do, NO abercrombie!!! You might as well ask a man, lol.). Good luck!


  • i think that you should pay for her ticket. it's the manly thing to do. if she says that she doesn't dance, then maybe you could say something like 'oh well, maybe you would want to go see a movie or something with me then'.. she will probably say yes.. if she likes you.. just don't come on too strong.. and yes.. you should ask her early

  • pay 4 da tickets and ask her to go wit u wit the ticket in ur pocket dont show it to her and ask her earlier cuz u have to gewt to her b4 someone else does
