One of those artist/photographers that I'd forgotten about! I really like his work, but the pictures on the internet suck. Anyway, check him out if you're ever in one of the major art galleries.

Cool, shame those web pictures are so terrible. They are stunning even as posters, so quite how they've managed to make them look so bad?
I've got several of his books. I particularly like his work on New York City in the 40's & 50's.
They probably made them like that deliberately so some people didn't try to just copy the pictures off the web and try to print them. I probably have 7 or 8 of his books and the prints in them are very good. You can find them fairly cheap on www.alibris.com (http://www.alibris.com) They sell used and old books and that is where I got most the ones of his I bought.
