  • One of those artist/photographers that I'd forgotten about! I really like his work, but the pictures on the internet suck. Anyway, check him out if you're ever in one of the major art galleries.

  • Cool, shame those web pictures are so terrible. They are stunning even as posters, so quite how they've managed to make them look so bad?


  • I've got several of his books. I particularly like his work on New York City in the 40's & 50's.


  • They probably made them like that deliberately so some people didn't try to just copy the pictures off the web and try to print them. I probably have 7 or 8 of his books and the prints in them are very good. You can find them fairly cheap on www.alibris.com (http://www.alibris.com) They sell used and old books and that is where I got most the ones of his I bought.
