Adding "new" tools to a panel

  • Since the tools options in a panel header are contained in a CSS sprite image, I'm not sure how to go about extending this functionality. Is it possible to add a tool based on a single image? Or to provide an additional CSS sprite image and reference it? Regarding the overall approach, is an extension or plugin more appropriate, or is there a simpler way that's I'm not seeing?

  • Yes, you can just use a single image and refer to it with the appropriate CSS.
