1. Do any of the bands do public meet & greets? Or do you have to win passes or have bought them from the fansite or whatever.
2. How early should i show up?
3. For those who have been, how was the show in general? And who were you favorite performances?
1.) well, you probably won't meet boys like girls or good charlotte, but you might if you get there a few hours early and check out their tour buses. the maine & metro station might be hanging out & doing public meet & greets by the merchandise tables. also, try their tour buses.
2.) maybe 2 hrs early? better chance of meeting the band when there are no/less people. they get there early because they have to do sound checks and stuff. my friend and i are going at least 3 hrs early when we go. i've learned from previous concert experience: the earlier, the better.
3.) well i havn't gone yet, but i absolutely adore the maine, so im hoping they'll be the best. :P if this question is still open by august first, ill tell you in my opinion. :P
2. Well it depends on how good places you want. I got there at 11 am and the show was at 7. It seems really early, but it was totally worth the wait because we had amazing front row places and we got to meet Metro Station as they were getting there and we got to actually hang out with The Maine for like an hour. (John mostly because Pat, Garrett, Jared, and Kennedy had to do sound check or something). We weren't even the first people to get there though.
3. I thought it was realllly good. The Maine were amazing, and they're my favorite band and they're really nice people in general, so they were probably my favorite performance. Metro Station was good too though! I'm not really into Good Charlotte, so my answer would be biased because I really don't like them. Boys Like Girls were really really good too, I think they're really good live!
1. The Maine definitely did meet and greets. You didn't have to win anything. I didn't see any of the other bands come out, but I think only a few members of the other bands came out, if any.
2. I went like 3 hours early. The line wasn't that long.
3. It was awesome. My favorite was definitely The Maine ('cause I was in the pit) and then Boys Like Girls. Good Charlotte was pretty good, but I don't like them personally. And Metro Station was good, but I like Trace, and all they do is focus on Mason. So if you like Mason, that's great. But some girl tried to start a mosh pit during Metro, and that's not fun.
