(1) I don't have backstage or Meet & Greet Passes, so is there a way to meet them?
(2) Someone said that if you get to the concert really early, you could meet or see them getting off their tour bus. Is that true?
(3) If getting there early to meet them doesn't work, could I meet them AFTER the concert somehow? If so, how long would they stay at the venue afterwards?
Thanks so much for all the nice and helpful answers!
=D
2.Yes But i Bet they wont let you come that early.
3.No
you are better than that.
In my experience the larger concert venues have a less accessible area where the tour bus will park leaving no access to the band.
However the only way to find out is to go to the venue and watch to see where buses arrive and the bands go.
If you live close enough I recommend going to some other shows and watching to see other bands and where they come in ahead of time so when the band you want to see comes you will already know what to do / expect.
If the bus is accessible you can usually meet before & after the show.
If you come early a few hours early is best. I think 4+ hours early is usually best (if you want to be safe earlier is better especially your first time) and depending on how comfortable the band is with being in public you may even see them walking around that early before the show.
If you stay after the show be prepared to wait a long time. Again this is if their bus is accessible.
Bands usually have places to shower and change in the venue after the show and most bands will wait and hang around a long time after the show.
Another thing about after the show is that usually they are tired and you have less of a chance of them actually wanting to hang around and chat / sign autographs etc.
Some bands rush onto the bus after so before is definitely better if you can swing it. It is more relaxed.
My last suggestion is look for people who look like they are in charge and ask. Be polite / nice / etc. but ask if there is any way you can meet the band.
You may get some people giving you negative responses but there is also the chance that you will ask the right person and get a yes.
I have successfully pulled off all these methods and some I won't share as well (I don't want anyone getting in trouble because of me). ;)
Be safe though above all else and have fun even if you don't succeeed the first time you try.
1. Definately not. They will have tons of people with meet and greet passes and backstage passes, so they won't have any time probably.
2. Yeah. It would probably be about 8-10 hours before the concert. But I think its worth it!!
3. You have to stay like 3 or 4 hours after the concert, but you might be able to see them get on their bus. I don't think you'll meet them, but they will sign an autograph and shake your hand!!
Your welcome:D
Have fun:))
2. I hope so, because I am going early !
3. I really hope so !
Sorry,
I wasn't too helpful :(
But I tried :)
