Streamplug Server\Divvin OGM Problems

  • For some reason whenever I try to play the OGM movies(while running StreamServer before hand) in Divvin, I always get the "playplistplayback aborted" error.

I'm running the latest T3CH build (rev 13120) and have on real idea what's wrong

Can anyone help me out? I'm getting the latest T3CH build right now and I'm going to give that a shot right now and hope that might fix my dilemma.

    Here's the debug log: http://pastebin.com/m7963cb88

  • Hi all! Wow, I don't even know where to start. I am so amazed at the hard work that goes into open source projects such as XBMC, and another favorite of mine, Frets on Fire (rock on!)... Anyway, I have tried a few different flavors of XBMC (Windows, Linux (Ununtu 8.04), and the USB Key version.....) All have their own little quirks, (which I'm sure are user error!), but I am currently focusing on the windows build. I am trying to add the DivVin video plugin, and I swear I am doing everything I am supposed to, but to no avail...

System is WinXP SP3, XBMC 14125, StreamPlug Server script, and the DivVin plugin... Here is what I have done so far....

    Install XBMC
Setup a few shares to my media (MP3's, DIVX, .JPGS), alll local. So far so good, though struggling with the Video_TS folders as I am moving from VMC with MyMovies to XBMC..
Extracted the StreamPlug script to the Scripts folder.
Extracted the DivVin plugin to the Video Plugins folder
Started XBMC.....go to Scripts, execute default1.py in the StreamPlug folder.
    XBMC hangs, and then crashes..

    Any help??

  • I should also say that I downloaded the latest version of the plugin from your site. ;-)

  • Thankyou for your kind words, and i truly am sorry - but time is limited at the moment.

I will add that the stremplug server that you are runnin is version 0 beta.

Please download :- Veoh proxy 1.3 from unbehagens google code page.

Also download the latest versions of all my plugins from the google code page in my sig.

I think that most of your faults will go away.

  • Hello, you are using a very old build of that plugin get the new one from my site.
The version that you are using doesn`t pass the urls to the server at all.
    Hence the error.

It tells you that when you try and access the OGM section.
    from your logfile:

    "OGM+MOVIES+-+Listed%2C+but+not+supported+yet%2CVoinage.')"

    http://code.google.com/p/voinage-xbmc-plugins/

Get the new version of Hagens veoh proxy it has been revamped also.

    http://veohproxy.googlecode.com/files/VeohProxy.zip

    Happy viewing Fluffy.

    Cheers Voinage.

  • my plugins are designed for xbox xbmc - i do not, at the moment, build them to run cross platform.

I simply do not have the time at the moment to fix bugs for a system that i never intended it to run on or is at least 98% stable.

    Sorry.

Hope someone who uses xbmc for windows can help try posting in that section.

  • Oh... and my XBMC version is:

    XBMC-SVN_2008-05-18_rev13120

  • post a log so i can see whats going on.

    Look in your xbmc folder.

  • Heya,

I don't know what it is that I have done but I am now able to view OGM's (Perfectly) and DivX's (Subject to a lot of buffering) but am still unable to play the FLV's at all.

In addition, some of the other Plugins which used to work for me (for example the NinjaVideo plugin) are now not playing back and are throwing the same error message out about 'Too many failed consecutive items'. I am running the latest Streamplug server posted on this board and the 1.2 version of Veohproxy.

Is the logfile you want XBMC.LOG??

  • That did the trick....thanks Voinage!!!

  • Darn! And from what I've read, you've done a lot!!! Thanks for your contributions!

So I have MUCH to learn about the interoperability of XBMC and it's plugins... I honestly thought (shame on me), that the core application was platform specific, but the plugins/scripts were interoperable between ports....

Oh well. It's a shame, because much of the attraction of XBMC for me was based on the plugins that you created!!! ;)

  • Not intended as a "bump", but have tried the NinjaVideo plugin, and the script I needed for that one too, crashes my XBMC...

  • Hi there,

I have the script in place and can stream (albeit with much buffering) the DivX movies. I'm assuming that the Flash and OGM's will play back with less buffering but I *ALWAYS* get the error:

    Too many consecutive failed attempts

Is this something I am doing or is there a problem somewhere else?

  • Here's a part of the log that might help??
