I need an answer to a trivia question. I need both parts of the answer.
First, I need the name of the television show. It's from the 80's and
has a military type theme and is NOT a sitcom. The show is currently
in syndication but is NOT on TVLand.
Second, I need the name of the character. The hint is the number
"937" which is a partial number of something important. Serial
number, etc.
Anyone have these answers? I greatly appreciate the help.
jmo74,
Some other posibilities are:
Show - The A-Team
Character - Seven of Nine (from Star Trek Voyager). Her official
designation is Seven of Nine, Tertiary adjunct of Unimatrix Zero.
(7of9, 3rd adjunct..)
With kind regards,
Ben
jmo74,
Failed to get a clear answer to your question.
Four possible shows are:
1. Emerald Point NAS (1983-1994)
2. Tour of Duty (1987-1990)
3. Star Trek: The Next Generation (1987-1997)
4. China Beach (1988-1991)
A good reference to each is here (use ?search?):
http://www.tvtome.com/
The significance of ?937? is very obscure. However it may be of
interest to know that ?Hill 937? was the designation given to a
location, on which a famous battle was fought in May of 1969. A 1987
movie (titled Hamburger Hill) depicts the battle involving Sth/Nth
Vietnamese forces & the 101st Airborne Division. This may relate to
?shows 2 & 4? as they both involve the Vietnam War (although no direct
reference to the battle appears in the shows synopsises).
Lastly a character in show 4., Dr Dick Richard (actor Robert Picardo)
appeared in ?production number 937? (episode name ?Spirit Fold?) of
the T.V show Star Trek: Voyager; he played the holographic ?doctor?
role (although this appears so vague as to be irrelevant).
Kind regards,
