BBC iPlayer Ip Spoofing?

    Is it possible to spoof your IP address so that the iPlayer script works for us schmucks who aren't resident in the UK?

  • yes. I live in the USA and made it work. here's a post by voinage that explains how.
    obviously, google for a UK proxy instead, but the process is the same.

    "xbmc has aproxy function under (settings,network - Enable network proxy)
    google u.s proxies copy one down add it via the xbmc keyboard. There you go."
